YC Maikyau SAN, Jerry Mallo and other Nigerian creators/ innovators will receive awards at the 2021 IP Institute lnnovation Awards.

The Innovation Awards was initiated to recognize and highlight Nigerian innovators and inventors, who are changing their worlds through the creative process.

The Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday the 2nd December, 2021 at the Nigerian National Merit Awards House in Abuja, FCT.

About YC Maikyau SAN
Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, SAN was admitted to the legal profession in December, 1990.

He began his career with the law firm of Danladi Bamaiyi and Company, where he rose to become the Head of Chambers. He established Y.C. Maikyau & Co in 2003.

He was conferred with the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria(SAN) on the 26th of August, 2011

About Jerry Mallo
Jerry Isaac Mallo is a 27 year old Nigerian inventor and the founder of Bennie Technologies Ltd, an Industrial Design and fabrication company.

He made national and international headlines when he launched Nigeria’s first luxury sports car nicknamed the Bennie Purrie.

The Intellectual Property Institute (Nigeria) is an Observer with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
The IPIN provides training and certification courses.
