President Trump on Tuesday by a tweet referred to the Coronavirus as the “Chinese Virus” which didn’t go down well with Beijing.
When President Trump was asked at a White House press briefing on Tuesday that China had stated that the term “Chinese Virus” was stigmatizing, President Trump stood by his tweet.
He further stated that what was stigmatizing was China putting out information which was false that US military gave the virus to them.
President Trump stated as follows:
“Rather than having an argument, I said, ‘I have to call it where it came from, it did come from China.’
Trump tweeted on Tuesday as follows:
“The United States will be powerfully supporting those industries, like Airlines and others, that are particularly affected by the Chinese Virus. We will be stronger than ever before!”
