The office of the Publicity Secretary should be the information center for members of the branch who seek information about the NBA and her activities and events. The office should be accessible through telephone calls, WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and any other social media platforms for members to be able to reach quickly.
Members of the branch are continually in need of information, at times, urgently and the office of the Publicity Secretary must be proactive in this regards. We have had situations where members in diaspora have needed to urgently contact their branch of the NBA for official information which they need abroad or even within Nigeria.
The general public most often also have the need to reach the NBA for provision and f indigent legal services or in case of breach of their fundamental human rights or to report breach of the rule of law around them. Again the office of the Publicity Secretary must be accessible to attend to such complaints and at least provide the first steps to succor for citizens.
