The International Federation of Women Lawyers [FIDA] Nigeria, Lagos State Branch, under the leadership of Mrs. Phillomena Nneji is pleased to announce her annual Fida Law-Week which is scheduled to hold from Wednesday, 16th June – Saturday, 19th June 2021.
The theme of this year’s law week is “African Child’s Right to life and a stable home: Towards eliminating social conflicts in Nigeria”.
This program is in commemoration of the United Nations 2021 International Day for the African Child.
The planning committee has accordingly lined up the following as part of its activities to mark the 2021 International Day for the African Child.

Visit to FIDA Lagos adopted schools
Visit to the Female Correctional Facilities

Closing Dinner
The Chairperson of the law week planning committee, Mrs. Adejoke Layi -Babatunde stated that the annual celebration will afford FIDA Lagos a great opportunity to continue activities to improve the literacy, health and well-being of women and children in Lagos State in particular and Nigeria in general.
She also noted, that in compliance with relevant Covid-19 safety protocols and the need to ensure the safety of participants, the law week will be a hybrid event [i.e both physical and virtual participation].
