I write to extend my warmest felicitations to the Steve Ahile led EXCO, the Law Week Planning Committee, and the entire members of NBA Bukuru Branch, as you celebrate your 2025 Law Week.
Your chosen theme for this year’s law week; ‘ UNDERSTANDING AI IN LEGAL PRACTICE: ISSUES, DILEMMAS AND CHALLENGES‘, is well crafted, particularly now that we live in a world where artificial intelligence competes with humans in the global sphere. As lawyers, we must innovate now to catch up with the speed of hi-tech globalization as it relates to the legal profession and the practice of law in Nigeria. This is the time to retool our practice in tune with innovative technology in a rapidly changing world.
I commend the Bukuru Branch leadership for providing this great opportunity to her members and conferees – building capacities and helping lawyers navigate this evolving frontier of digitalized legal practice.
