NIGERIA’S GOVERNORS’ FORUM SET UP COMMITTEE TO INTERVENE ON COVID-19

The Nigeria’s Governors’ forum has set up a committee to be headed by the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasiru El’ Rufai to look at the implication of the Coronavirus on the states and the Nigerian Economy.

The governors have decided to respond to this health emergency also to intervene in terms of stetting up isolation centers provision for testing, protective equipment for health workers, sanitizers etc.

Governor Kayode Fayemi gave the assurance that although there will be a challenge to meet the economic needs of the state at this tough time salaries of workers will be paid.
