President Muhammadu Buhari has failed to deliver his home state for the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Meanwhile, the President won his Sarkin Yara Polling Unit in Daura, Katsina State, polling unit for the APC presidential candidate who scored 523 in Buhari’s while Atiku and Obi scored three and zero, respectively.
However, in the overall results, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP polled 489,045 votes to emerge the winner in Katsina State while Tinubu 482, 283 votes.
Labour Party’s Peter Obi polled 6,376 votes while 69,385 votes were scored by Rabiu Kwankwaso of the NNPP.
