The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, OON, SAN, condoles with the Baba-Panya family and the Gbagyi community on the demise of Musa Baba-Panya. He was a Father, Brother, and Friend to all who met him.
The news of Musa’s passing has left us all in shock. Musa was a brilliant advocate, Constitutional Lawyer, Human Rights Activist and Public Interest Lawyer.
Musa walked on this earth for 54 years and he made every day count. The FCT and Nigeria felt his impact. Though short, he lived a life of service, diligence and compassion in the defence of the down-trodden. He was warm and amiable to all who crossed his path. Indeed, he will be sorely missed.
We pray that the Almighty God grant his family, the Gbagyi community and the Bar the fortitude to bear this great loss.
