NBA ONITSHA BRANCH EXCO UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTS MR. FERDINAND A. NAZA AS CANDIDATE FOR THE POSITION OF PUBLICITY SECRETARY

Saturday, 13th July, 2024.

At its meeting held Saturday, 13th July, 2024, the Executive Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association, Onitsha Branch, unanimously adopted Mr. Ferdinand A. Naza, as its Candidate for the position of the Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, in the forthcoming National elections, scheduled for Saturday, the 20th of July, 2024.

At said Executive meeting held at the Sir Louis Mbanefo Bar Center, members deliberated on a Motion that, candidates running for National offices from the Branch, be adopted as candidate for the election, in line with tradition of the branch.

Mr. Ferdinand A. Naza, it was deliberated, has served the Nigerian Bar Association, in various capacities, at Branch, Regional and National levels. Mr. Ferdinand A. Naza, notably served as the Assistant National Publicity Secretary under the administration of Olumide Akpata, from 2020 – 2022. He served in other capacities at branch level, as a one time Publicity Secretary; Chairman NBA Onitsha Branch Young Lawyers Forum; and other numerous Committees at Branch level, to mention but a few.

Mr. Ferdinand A. Naza is contesting to become the Publicity Secretary of the Association against other contestants. It was resolved, with his wealth of experience, as a seasoned Bar man, would fit-in to serve the Bar, as its Chief Publicist, at National level.
