URGENT! URGENT!! URGENT!!!
Good day Learned Seniors and Colleagues.
We have in the last few days been inundated with questions from our teeming supporters regarding members verification and updating ahead of the forthcoming NBA National Officers Elections scheduled for 29th and 30th of July, 2020.
The general challenge with gaining access to the NBA Membership Portal after several attempts at clicking forget password without the corresponding receipt of an email from the NBA is attributable to the fact that NBA may not have your email address to which your password would be sent.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO URGENTLY BEFORE 15TH OF JULY, 2020 TO BE ABLE TO VOTE?
As stated by the ECNBA, it is not enough that your name appears on the 2nd Provisional List of Voters, you MUST, as a matter of urgency do the following to be able to vote:
a) You must do your verification and this does not cost you anything. Kindly visit https://nigerianbar.org.ng/membership-portal and click on ‘get verified’ and furnish the following information in a form provided; i) your full name; ii) year of call; iii) telephone number; iv) an email address to which your access code will be sent to and; v) upload your call to bar certificate.
b) In few hours, you will recieve a mail with the subject ‘profile verified’ with a code.
c) Copy the code and also follow a link on the email received from the NBA to change your password; thereafter, use your new password to access your portal on the NBA website https://nigerianbar.org.ng/membership-portal where you will have to update your bio data which includes but not limited to i) email address; ii) telephone number; iii) address iv)profile photograph; v) date of birth vi) state of origin vii) contact address, etc.
d) Click ‘update’ after completing your data and it will thereafter display your bio data as corrected and you are good to go.
e) For persons who clicked ‘forgot password’ and are able to receive their new password via their email address in the manner of the procedure in paragraph (b) above, kindly proceed to paragraphs (c) and (d) respectively without delay so your eligibility is guaranteed and you are able to vote on the 29th and 30th of July, 2020.
WHEN MUST YOU EMBARK ON THIS TASK?
We enjoin you to proceed immediately as delay is dangerous.
The ECNBA has fixed the 15th of July, 2020 for closure of the verification/ profile update platform. Failure to do your verification and update as advised above before the 15th of July, 2020 is a recipe for DISENFRANCHISEMENT.

Please sir, I did my verification and there was a promise to send an email, for almost one hour nothing was sent. Secondly my surname was wrongly spelled as NWACHUKWU in the provisional voters list. My surname is NWACHUKU.
