I had the privilege of meeting Dr Babatunde Ajibade SAN during my service year.

Aderinsola Fagbure, Former Chairperson YLF Lagos Branch

I served as an NYSC Associate at the law firm of SPA Ajibade & Co. As a brand new wig, I admired his charisma and leadership skills which were characterized by replicating these skills in the lawyers around him.

He played an important role in identifying and developing leadership skills in all who worked with him. His passion for a unified bar is not unfounded as he constantly encouraged all of us at SPA Ajibade & Co to actively participate in Bar activities. BAMA, as I call him, encouraged me and provided me with the necessary support to serve as the Secretary of the NBA Lagos Branch Law Week Committee, a position which many thought I was too young hold. In his opinion, with the right mentorship, the opportunities are limitless for a young lawyer who constantly develops himself.

Dr. Babatunde Ajibade, SAN

I have no doubt in Dr Ajibade’s abilities to lead the Bar and represent the Nigerian Bar at international fora, given his track record and achievements at the International Bar Association. He has always stood for doing things right and I am convinced he will right the wrongs in the legal profession. Also, his passion for self development will also see to an improvement in the welfare of young wigs, across the Nation.

Aderinsola Fagbure
Chairperson, Young Lawyers Forum, NBA Lagos Branch
2015 – 2017 and 2017 – 2019.
