I learnt of the recent demise of Mr. Francis Oshogwe Ithunokha, a staunch member of the Kano Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association.
Mr. Ithunokha had worked as a litigation secretary for many years with the Kano law firm of Tajudeen Funsho & Co., and was already well known in legal circles there before he went on to study law at the Bayero University, Kano, was called to the bar in 2011 and continued to practice with the same law firm. He will be remembered for his humility, diligence and persevering spirit.
Although we are passing through a pandemic with daily reports of deaths around us, the death of any one of us affects all of us. I commiserate with the family of the deceased, his relatives and friends and the Executive Committee and Members of the Kano Branch on his passing, and pray that God grants us all the fortitude to bear the sad loss.
