This year’s Annual Bar Week of the Ikot Ekpene branch spans through 8th & 12th of May, 2022 with the theme “Strengthening the Pillars of Democracy Through Effective Legislation”.

“Distinguished Chairman, Executives and Branch Members of Ikot Ekpene branch,
I am delighted to convey good tidings to your dear branch on this special occasion of your 2022 Annual Bar Week themed: ‘Strengthening the Pillars of Democracy Through Effective Legislation’.
We are faced with daunting challenges as a nation, hence we cannot overemphasize the importance of upholding the core tenets of democracy through sound legislation with a view to achieving a nation of our dreams. Your Bar Week and its theme is another very welcome avenue to keep the narrative going with high hopes.
I am very confident that, at the end of the week long event, a step towards nation building would have been recorded.
