The Attention of the Legal Team of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has been drawn to an oasis of lies being bandied about by Social Media Contractors of our Principlal’s distractions, giving gross misrepresentation of facts on the Proceedings in a Suit filed by Pastor Kenneth O. Asekhome and others against the APC, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and others ,pending before the Hon. Justice Ahaomoje of the Edo State High Court No. 6, Benin City .
The Legal Team of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu reacts as follows:
1. That the report has no probative value as there is no writer on record, whose name is appended to the gibberish, called Article.
2. That the Legal Team has put modalities in place to unravel the mischief makers who are the Writers , following the requisite originating Protocols as enshrined by the Regulatory Authorities.
3. That the news item is false as the true state of affairs of the Matter in Court is that Cousel to Parties in the Matter adopted all their written addresses in respect of the Originating Summons, the Counter Affidavit thereto and the Written Addresses in support of the Notices of Preliminary Objection and the other Processes against and for the Objection.
4. The Legal Team of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu states that these facts are ascertainable from the Court Registry and we call on Members of the Public to disregard the mischief makers spreading false propaganda on the issue.
We state that the Matter is adjourned to the 25th of June, 2020 for final decisions on the Pending Applications and the Main Suit .
We call on Members of the Public to double check the contents of write ups, before believing or forwarding same as there are many persons whose daily paid job is to churn out falsehoods against our Principal for distractional purposes.
