As the 2026 draws near, the election for the officers of National Executive Officers of the Nigerian Bar Association is rearing it’s interesting head in the horizon.
The Egbe Amofin O’Odua is one of the largest associations of lawyers, only second to the Nigerian Bar Association itself, in Nigeria. The Egbe’s National Conference had the biggest turned out in its history and its resolution to present a unanimous candidate, without doubt, will impact the outcome of the 2026 NBA Election.
After a Report of the Sub-Committee set up by the Management Committee of Egbe was presented to memebers at the 2025 Annual General Meeting, Aare Akinboro, SAN was unanimously adopted by members as Egbe Amofin O’odua’s sole Candidate for the 2026 Nigerian Bar Association Elections. There was not one dissenting voice to his nomination.
