There is no better way to show that one has the interest and welfare of the members at heart than the way Lagos Branch under the leadership of Mr. Yemi Akangbe and the executive officers has gone about the welfare of members in this challenging period.
Mr. Akangbe and the members of the executive had risen up to the occasion when members needed them to come through for them and they are still doing so.
Even amidst criticism which had since been laid to rest, the Chairman and his team only had one focus, the welfare of members in this challenging period.
I can confidently say “we have confidence in the leadership of the branch to lead us through this challenging period.”
It is soothing to know that we have in place a leadership that makes welfare of members a priority in the premier branch.
For this kind gesture, I sincerely appreciate the Chairman and his team and I say “thank you” to you all.
I also use this opportunity to say “thank you” to all SANs, all Senior Members of the bar, Elders of the bar and all the lawyers who have made this challenging period less of a burden.
As we celebrate this Good Friday, I pray that the Almighty God continue to bless you all.
