With cases of infected persons on the rise in the country and Lagos State being the most affected, it appears Youths in the state do not really appreciate the idea behind the order given to residents of the state to sit home.

It will not be surprising if at the end of this “sit at home” order the state ends up with more cases of infected persons than before the “sit at home” order.
Perhaps the state has to do more to sensitize the people on the need to observe social distancing as a sizeable number of Lagos Youths perhaps think Coronavirus only happens in the news.
As at the time of writing this report, a lot of the Youths are on the streets across Lagos playing football, sweating on each other, shouting and screaming at each other, tackling, clustering; nothing like social distancing.
