It is with immense pride and heartfelt admiration that I felicitate with the Executive, Elders, and Learned Members of the Idemili Branch (Fountain Bar) of the Nigerian Bar Association on the occasion of your Law Week celebration.
The “Fountain Bar” stands tall among the great pillars of the legal profession in Nigeria as a citadel of learning, excellence, and character, where men and women of intellect and integrity have continued to uphold the nobility of the Bar.
This year’s theme, “From Honour to Hustle? Reclaiming the Noble Identity of the Legal Profession,” is not only timely but profoundly reflective of the urgent need to restore the dignity, purpose, and ethical foundation upon which our great profession was built.
I salute the vision, courage, and commitment of the organizers and members of Idemili Branch for leading this important conversation; one that seeks to rekindle our collective conscience and reaffirm the sanctity of justice as the soul of our profession.
May this Law Week inspire deeper reflection, renewed passion, and a rebirth of true professionalism in our noble calling. The Fountain Bar will always remain a beacon of excellence and a spring that never runs dry.
Accept my warmest congratulations and best wishes for a successful and impactful Law Week celebration.
