Commercial Intermediates has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Pro Bono Clearing House to provide national pro bono ADR Services. Under the MoU, Commercial Intermediates will provide Neutrals and Mediation Attorneys to act facilitate access to justice for indigent Nigerians.
Speaking at the signing, the Program Coordinator for the Pro Bono Clearing House, Mr. Mutiu Akinsanya expressed his excitement stating that “this partnership will go a long way to promoting the objectives of the Pro Bono Clearing
House and increasing popular appreciation for ADR in Nigeria.”
In response, the representative of Mr. Raphael Sedemogun observed that the partnership would also provide opportunities for grooming Mediators and ADR experts.
Commercial Intermediates recently commended the decision of the Attorney General of the Federation to make Nigeria a world-class Arbitration destination for dispute resolution in Africa. The Firm also charged the Federal Government to promote the wide-scale adoption of Mediation and Conciliation as primary alternatives to Litigation.
