Under the chairmanship of Chukwuka Ikwuazom SAN, there was renewed interest by members in the activities of the Premier Branch. Members who had hitherto not paid attention to the branch became very active. Mr. Ikwuazom’s administration set out to bring in inactive members of the branch to participate in branch activities, which included our monthly meetings, where attendance rose from around 250-300 to over a thousand.
The knowledge sharing sessions, which became a permanent feature of our meetings, drove up attendance at monthly meetings and made members have something to look forward to.
Added to this was the transparency and accountability of the administration that had financial reports of income and expenditure sent to members by email before monthly meetings and presented to members at the meetings. This allowed members to see how their funds were being expended.
