“State of the Nation: Where are the Lawyers?” is the theme of the 2022 Annual Law Week of the NBA, Bwari branch (“Cradle Bar”) holding between 3rd and 8th of June, 2022.
Chinyere Obasi, a Welfare Secretary Candidate of the NBA in her goodwill message to the Cradle Bar thanked them for reminding lawyers of their role in nation building. Read below her message:
“I am full of appreciation to the leadership and members of the NBA, Bwari branch (“Cradle Bar”) for using the occasion of their 2022 Annual Law Week celebration to remind us lawyers of our indispensable role in nation building. This reminder is aptly captured in the theme of this year’s event to wit ‘State of the Nation: Where are the Lawyers?’.
Indeed, where are the lawyers? What role do we play in upholding justice? What role do we play taking the nation to greater heights? I am in no doubt that this year’s Law Week has been able to remind us of that role. It is left for us to act accordingly.
The theme is most worhty of commendation. Thank you and God bless.”
