At the last NBA NEC Meeting of the year which held at the NBA Secretariat, Abuja on the 9th of December 2023, it was an applauds galore.
As each executive was rendering report of his or her office, it was a mild drama when the NBA Welfare Secretary was called to the podium to give her report. The applauds would not stop and the NBA President apparently got the message and had to intervene and directed that the Welfare Secretary just take a bow and the meeting moved to the next item on the agenda.
It was as though it was glaring that the Welfare of members was without doubt in good hands. The Welfare Secretary confided in our source who do not wish that the identity be disclosed that she was surprised by the rousing applauds at the NEC meeting and that she could only thank God for such overwhelming reaction from members. She really appreciated the response and she would never take it for granted but put in more work and commitment, she confided in our source.
