The Young Lawyers Forum(“YLF”), Owerri branch has held its 2 day 2022 Summit tagged “Yesterday, Today and the Future of the Legal Profession in Nigeria”. The summit held between 17th-18th March, 2022 with various speakers bringing to bear their wealth of experience in treating the theme and topics . Chinyere Obas a close friend of young lawyers has sent in a goodwill message to the YLF, Owerri branch on the successful conduct of the said summit. She stated as follows:

“My erudite young lawyers of the Owerri branch, you have once more exercised your sagacity in piloting your affairs by putting together a powerpacked Summit for the year 2022.
The theme for this year’s summit to wit: “Yesterday, Today and the Future of the Legal Profession in Nigeria” goes all the way to prove that you possess the needed mindset to effectively take over the mantle of leadership and effortlessly pilot the affairs of our dear Association in the near future.

This theme and the carefully chosen discussants who dissected the attendant topics leave me in no doubt that you have learned key tricks and ingrained requisite tips in projecting our bar to greater heights.

I want to earnestly urge you to keep up the good work by organizing more insightful and educational programs as this. It is my deep desire that your great forum and bar continue to advance and in turn contribute to the growth of the NBA at large.

Thank you and God bless.”

Signed:
Chinyere Obasi, Esq.,
Former National Officer, NBA
