Lagos, Nigeria (February 8th, 2024): The Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN) President, Chimezie Victor C. Ihekweazu SAN, kicked off the association’s 2024 membership training program with a strong message: embrace new opportunities and knowledge under the recently enacted CAMA 2024 law for the growth and development of Nigeria’s insolvency regime.
Welcoming 54 participants, Ihekweazu emphasized the importance of upskilling in insolvency options, business restructuring, and rescue to navigate the evolving legal landscape. He urged active participation and highlighted new practice areas emerging in the field.
The four-day intensive training (February 8th-9th and 15th-16th) aims to equip professionals with the latest knowledge and practical skills to tackle challenges and seize opportunities in insolvency and business recovery. The program also underscores BRIPAN’s commitment to supporting judicial efforts in advancing the law and practice of insolvency in Nigeria.
