Following the nation wide strike of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) embarked upon on Tuesday, the Nigerian Bar Association under the leadership of Olumide Akpata has taken the initiative to enter into a dialogue with the union.
In a chat with lawyerwaka.com one of the executives of the Nigerian Bar Association disclosed that the Bar decided to engage the Union because something has to be done at the moment with a view to resolving matter.
Although, it appears the government has to be part of an agreement that can bring a lasting resolution to the grievance of the union, it remains to be seen what strings the Bar is able to pull in the interim pending a permanent solution to the crisis.
