The Eti-Osa Bar Forum has postponed its Online Town Hall Meeting scheduled for Thursday, 9th April, 2020 until further notice.
This was made known in a press statement issued by Oladotun Hassan Esq.and Ayo Ademiluyi Esq., Chairman and Secretary of Eti-Osa Bar Forum respectively. The statement asserted that the Online Town Hall Meeting which has its theme , ” Coronavirus, Welfare of Lawyers and Future of the Bar” was postponed after consultations.
The Online Town Hall Meeting which have Mr. Paul Usoro SAN, President of the Nigerian Bar Association and the quartet of Deacon Dele Adesina SAN, Dr. Babatunde Ajibade SAN , Mr. Olumide Akpata and
Mr. Ogunlana Adesina Ademola as Discussants will be held at a date to be announced later.
The statement added that the Forum took this last minute decision based on the fact that based on wide consultation with our 4 discussants who expressed interest in participating in the programme after the NBA election ban is lifted in few weeks time.
However, we shall continually maintain our noble vision and objective for the overall welfare and interests of members of the Forum, while we constantly discuss issues of mutual concern as it arises on the platform.
