The Nigerian Bar Association, Benin Branch, wishes our distinguished colleagues a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year, 2021.
No doubt this outgoing year 2020 has been a challenging year as it is a unique and unusual one due to the COVID-19 pandemic, security challenges and other events which have collectively tested our faith but we have remained resilient due to steadfastness as exemplified by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who is the reason for the season. As we celebrate His birth and incarnation, we must continue to dwell on the things which bind us together than those which separate us, while showing love to our neighbours exemplifying the virtues laid down for us by Jesus Christ.
Indeed it is our prayer that as we gradually cruise into the year 2021 non shall be lost.
