AFBA YLF Organises Webinar: Force Majeure and Contractual obligations in Nigeria: The COVID-19 Effect

The African Bar Association (AFBA) Nigeria Young Lawyers Forum (YLF) is organising a one day webinar on: Force Majeure and Contractual obligations in Nigeria: The COVID-19 Effect.

The webinar is intended to address the following areas:
1) The Concept of Force Majeure and the Implications of Covid-19 on Business and investment Contracts
2) The effects of Force Majeure on Employment and Workplace Agreements
3) Impact of COVID-19 on Trade: Domestic and international Trades.

The webinar is billed to hold via Zoom on 9th April, 2020 at 5pm.

Intending participants are to visit bit.ly/AFBAYLFNGZOOM to register.

The Cordinator of the Forum Bibi Obinichi Benneth-Ugo, in her statement on the webinar, stated that its purpose is to ensure that young lawyers gain more knowledge while safely isolating at home.

She also indicated that the webinar is one of a series to run throughout the period of isolation.
