Adefowoke Ayo-Ponle, a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos has been cleared by the Electoral Committee of the branch to run for the Vice Chairman of the Premier Branch in the coming election slated for the 27th of June, 2023.
She is currently serving as a co-opted member of the Executive Committee of the branch, a member of the National Executive Council of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Nigeria, the current Secretary of FIDA, Lagos Branch, as well as Lagos State Lead, NBA Women’s Forum (NBAWF). She has handled several sessions for the NBA and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) during several Conferences and meetings. Adefowoke is Lead Counsel at Firstrose Solicitors, Lagos.
As a gender advocate, she is committed to serving the branch, her manifesto, and other materials will be uploaded on the 26th of May, 2023 as directed by the electoral committee.
