I woke up this morning to the calls from my children. They were all eager to wish their father a happy father’s day.
I quickly picked up my phone to call my own father. Indeed, fatherhood is not an easy task and having raised four children myself, I understand how tough the process can be, I appreciate the work done by all fathers to ensure the wellbeing of the children and the entire family.
Too many times, the father’s responsibility extends beyond his biological children to cousins, nephews, nieces and other full or part dependants. But no matter how tough the task is, we, as fathers, continue to carry on our responsibilities, no matter the condition.
I celebrate us all.
