Over the years, the Young Legal Professionals (YLP) has grown into a dynamic platform, equipping young lawyers with the tools to thrive, bridging gaps through impactful programs, and imparting knowledge that continues to shape the future of our profession. The strides YLP has made in fostering learning, mentorship, and innovation are nothing short of commendable.

As a former Secretary of the NBA Lagos Branch, I have consistently identified with the YLP and witnessed firsthand the giant strides it has made in nurturing the next generation of legal minds. The energy, vision, and commitment YLP brings to the profession continue to be inspiring, having produced a couple of branch executives in time past.

It is therefore with great pride that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the newly inaugurated 2025–2026 YLP Board of Admins. This is a team of game changers, poised to take YLP even further:
• Dickson Obairi – Chairman
• Olutayo Awoyele – Secretary
• Glory Ejike
• Olawale Ogunseitan
• Lateef Bamidele
• Victory Ilugo
• Doreen Obairi-Abazuo

I urge you all to continue leveraging the YLP platform to advance the legal profession, inspire excellence, and build a stronger community of lawyers who are equipped to lead and innovate.

Congratulations and best wishes for a successful tenure.

Moshood Abiola, LL.M, MCIArb (UK)
